We are a bridge between Outgoing Senior and Incoming young businessman.
There are thousands of small businessmen in India who are running their business either single handed or as partnership firm for the past over 30 to 40 years. They are the first-generation businessmen who have struggled throughout their life to establish and run their business. These people have faced resistance from society as well as from family to some extent because many left their good jobs to start and run the business.
The size of the business does not matter for us. Our aim is to find suitable successor for the existing running business.
During this tenure, they have run their families and completed all responsibilities of family like education of children, their marriages, good care of parents etc. While doing so, they may or may not have great savings, some may be even going through hard time as usual but are successfully running the business by stretching themselves like boot-strapping or such.
Now that this generation has crossed their fifty, sixty or may be seventy years of age. Some of businessmen's children have joined them. They are the lucky ones to find successors.
Now, the question remains about a large group who do not have successors for their business. Their children are not willing to join them as they have seen parents struggling so much to survive and run the business. Many of children have studied and working abroad on attractive package which the business cannot afford. Some may find parents business as a low grade activity. Many may have other issues.
Now what will happen to their businesses?? Do they have to close down because of age? What will happen to selling potential and goodwill of that small yet reliable business? Who will capture their market space? There are lot of questions of which we are trying to find answers.
Whatever may be the case, we do not want to go in to the reasons, but wish to find a good successor for the business with assured returns to promoter of the same.
How are we planning to do this?
Simple solution - Joining both sides of people by a bridge
Though children or relatives of promoters are not willing to join as successors for any reason, there are many young and dynamic youths who are looking for starting and running business. They are unable to do so just coz they do not have may be capital, may be marketing background, may be technical skill or so. Some of the skills may be lacking, but they definitely have potential to run the business as a whole if their lacking of skill is bridged by someone. There are thousands of young people who are hard working, trust worthy and looking for business avenues.
We will bridge this gap. We are generating a data base of both sides, arranging meetings between them, make them understand their needs so that together can find suitable match for each other. In a way it is sort of finding a right partner for HANDING OVER the business for a continuous future.
We have data from existing businessmen who want right successor and the data of young people who wish to join and take forward existing activity to a new level.
